Delete your StickerHunt account

You can permanently delete your StickerHunt account at any time, from the mobile app or from the website. You do not need to contact us — deletion is self-service and takes effect immediately.

How to delete your account

In the StickerHunt app

1. Open the app and go to your Profile tab.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

On the web

1. Sign in with the email and password you use for StickerHunt.
2. Open your account dashboard.
3. Scroll to Delete account, tap Delete my account, and confirm.

Once you confirm, you are signed out everywhere and your account is gone. Deletion cannot be undone, and we cannot recover a deleted account or its content.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes everything tied to it from our active systems:

• Your profile, including your email address, username, display name, bio, and profile photo.
• Your stickers and sticker packs, and every placement you pinned on the map.
• Your hunts and check-ins, including check-in photos and the points and badges you earned.
• Your comments and likes.
• Your follows and followers, and your block list.
• Your notifications and push-notification tokens.
• Every photo you uploaded.

Communities you created are deleted along with their stickers and placements. Other people's check-ins on your stickers are deleted too, because they depend on the sticker.

What is kept

We keep nothing that identifies you. After deletion we may retain:

• Anonymised aggregate counts (for example, the total number of stickers ever placed) that cannot be linked back to you.
• Legal records we are required to keep, such as records of a report or enforcement action, with your personal details removed where the law allows.

How long it takes

• Your account and content are removed from our live databases and storage immediately when you confirm.
• Copies in our backups are purged within 30 days. Backups are only used to restore the service after a failure and are never used to reinstate a deleted account.

Only want to remove some data?

You do not have to delete your account to clean things up. You can remove individual stickers, placements, hunt check-ins, and comments from the app, and you can edit or clear your display name, bio, and profile photo at any time in the app or from the web dashboard.
